It just shows how big of a blowhard ignorant a-hole the average American is.
The idea that one of the most radical countries in the most radical region could sustain a democracy to stabilize the region was sold to the American public - and the public thought it was just great. Iraq is about to be a permanent military anchor for the United States and other western business interests.

Unintentional it may be or not, It's the greatest con job ever pulled on the American people and we're paying dearly for it now.
