While I agree with the sentiment, the problem is often that there is just one parent - a mother - as the father is in prison after getting ensnared in our absurd justice system for non-violent crime. Many more just don't have the means or maturity to rear children. Many have long been unemployable.

This is the work of a fatherless generation, and you'll see it get worse until we change the way we govern. This is why abortions need to be encouraged and publicly funded. The linked article is almost certainly what our current subsidies are funding - which would you choose?
