i have a subaru wrx, and mine isn't faded. maybe b.c I kept it in a garage for the first 12 years I had it. the wife's car gets the garage now.
Subarus are awesome cars, especially if you live where it snows.

Paint isn't great and body dents relatively easy, that said they're amazing cars for value simply because they keep going and deliver in all weather in a way that nothing else in their price point does. Additionally the WRXs are probably the best sports cars on the market under 50k in terms of actual usable fun.
