Does the team have insurance? What if one of them gets hurt who pays for it?

I was wondering the same thing. If you play against a school like this with no admission standards, who is liable if a serious injury occurs?

Very sketchy and I don't think any decent college program would schedule a team like this.

another thing is, if an FCS or D2 is playing such a team, their insurance shouldn't cover if they get hurt...

Ahh, but that's the magic of it. If you never come close to making a block or a tackle, you are highly unlikely to ever get hurt.

I'm not sure what the problem is with them not having academic standards.

A lot if SEC starters have no business being at the school, other than to play football. If it weren't for football they wouldn't qualify for admissions and most would flunk out, even if they were.

Fake school for football seems like a logical progression.
