So he gets a 10 game suspension but doesn't come back until week 12. Does he not get credit for time served in weeks 1 and 2? Am I missing something? So he's really serving a 12 game suspension?

He gets credit for those games, but the suspension is for 10 games, not 10 weeks. I think bye is week 11. Suspension lasts 11 weeks including the bye, and he's back after that which is week 12.
Eta: I now see the bye is actually week 4. It doesn't change the arithmetic.
