Wow. What happened to PBS?
They used to be one of the best programs in Louisiana.

They're still a good program, just not a great team this year. OL is small and they don't seem to have speedy backs. They can still whip into more PBS shape, but they have a way to go before looking like the PBS that won state titles.

They're still good, but U-High has been the best team in Baton Rouge since 2013 at least.

Let's get this out the way now: The refs are going to be bad, real bad.

Yep...and the funny part is, you will hear this from both sides.

So since last year..

This is probably the first "rebuilding" year Parkview has had in the last 8-10 years. Graduated a lot of guys, OL is all new starters (3 graduated, 1 quit because of injury and could've hurt his baseball career, and the other doesn't go to PBS anymore.) They return the QB, FB, RB, and have some talented WR this year.

Defense is young but pretty talented. I think there will be 7 Sophomores who play significant time. Will be dominant again the next 2 years though.

As for CHS, they aren't as good as the past 2 years IMO.. Besides Guice and the other young RB, they don't have anything else. Average OL, WR and a bad QB. The defense is okay overall. With that being said, Guice and #22 will be the entire team for CHS this year and it might be enough to beat PBS this year. No prediction, hoping for a good game. Should be packed!

What are you judging all this off of? The jamboree?

So unless the whole team is legit D-1 prospects like Derrius and Clyde (#22) are, then they all suck. They'll be fine at QB - he's a really good athlete just needs experience. Receivers can get the job done and the O-line will get better as the season goes, which is typical for a CHS O-line.

Yep... Exactly what I meant!
No, they have 2 studs and other than that they're average. I don't think I'm wrong by saying that. And yes, the QB threw I think 2 maybe 3 picks in the jamboree against a St. Michael's team that's god awful.

Not talking shite here but I'm just saying that besides Guice and Clyde, they're not anything special.

Just like 3 years ago when catholic came to PBS starting a bunch of young sophs.....

Rebuilding cycle for eagles...no breaks went their way early, thats what can happen....

Awful lot of first time starters out there..

Amazing a game like that cant get better officiating..

Derrius Guice is too good not to run for 200 and 3 TD's at least on them this year.

Pretty close in terms of total yards and TDs
