What do you do with the stuff you buy that you really don't need that much of? Sell it? I see the people on TV and the savings are great, but I don't want 27 jars of mayo in my house, or 20 bottles of MR Clean.
My wife and I have talked about this.. if she would get disciplined enough to do it, we'd give most of the excess away to some charities. Maybe keep 10 bottles of mustard and give away the other 10.

Up vote for you!
How do you couponers do that?
Occasionally I'll apply coupons to my rewards card and clip a few obvious ones.....but I never find deals like that. I'm totally okay with having paper towels, TP, and soap sitting around in large quantities. That will eventually get used, and in the off chance that the zombie apocalypse happens, TP and antibacterial soap will be nice to have.

Very impressive haul. Have heard you can do this, have not figured out how.

I basically chase all of the deals at every store around me, LOL. It gets very addicting!
I make a ton of gift baskets for friends for housewarming gifts, cousins kids going away to college etc. I also shop a lot of after christmas and all of that as well! Kmart is my FAVE store and has the best coupon deals. They just run great specials, like the one I posted... They used to double every day, but changed it and only do double events like one week every couple of months...

So you have a coupon that says spend $20 and receive the equivalent of $20 in points? Damn that's awesome.

I'm totally jealous of the savings for the needed stuff though!
I always keep a personal stockpile. We have a spare bedroom with a couple of shelves, and I have shelves in my walk in closet and shed and I keep everything nice and neat. I often go though my stuff and send bags of "goodies" to my family. My husbands coworkers come "shop" in my stockpile sometimes and will get a couple bags of stuff for 20.00
We also donate a LOT. Kid goes to catholic school so theyre always looking for some kind of donations.
Last year, for the toys for tots we donated 60 toys we got free/almost free. They featured my daughter in the paper for the toy donation and her class won a pizza party. Im trying to teach her to give back, and I figured this is a good way.
This year, we have over 200 toys to donate... I am anxiously awaiting for that time to send them to the school!

I watch the sale cycles and follow all the local store adds. Check them weekly and also follow coupong blogs that will basically match the coupons available in the paper with the adds. Sometimes you end up with crap you dont use because its a moneymaker or have to do it with a deal to get everything free, but I dont have a problem getting rid of anything I dont want

I actually have a few "paper ladies" that will give me bewtween 50-100 coupon insets per week. Theyre left overs from delivery. I hardly ever use all of them, but if there is a good coupon that week ( for example: 4.00 off any 1 almay product, and almay eye makeup remover is 2.00 at walmart, I basically make 2.00 buying that eye remover.. Walmart allows you to apply coupon "overage" to your basket total Use the overage for wahtever you want, milk, bread, etc etc.) I can do some major freaking damage!!
I also bring my ladies each a couple of things every week in exchange for the massive amount of coupons. I dont mind sharing because if I would have to go buy newspapers it would cost me a lot!
Meaux, it takes a LOT of time/patiene. My hubby is okay with negotiating "special loving" for coupon cutting

Im lucky I work for myself, and my flexibility allows me to shop while Im on the road, so it saves me running around time too. Basically if theres a hot deal at walgreens, Ill hit up every one I see

Very impressive, worthy of a guest appearance on 'Extreme Couponers'. I've never shied away from using a coupon but some past GFs look at me like its beneath them to use or something. I try to explain to them, "HELLO, its free money!" and they roll their eyes and don't budge until I tell them that the money they would have spent not using coupons could go towards a new purse or some crap. Then they're intrigued. Always have got to use incentives with you broads.
Also, good on you with the donations. That'll help make 200 kids' day really special.

I can't imagine how many people are upset when they get behind you in line.

I'll give you $10 for a box of the baby wipes, a box of swifters, and a thing of Mr Clean.
