I know that's SW CO, so is flying into the different airport the issue or is the drive a pain in the arse once you land?

Keep an eye on snow reports. This may be an unusual winter. It may help you make up your mind.

You can fly into Telluride during the season. The airport is awesome if you like difficult approaches to mesas.

Telluride ahs almost no lift lines, great amounts of snow and fresh powder, and some really great runs.

The greens are not great, but the blues and blacks are amazing. on their busiest weekends life lines might be 5 minutes.
