According to Ben Schpigel, one of four New York Times sportswriters making their prediction in the Sunday edition.

I think CB play will determine whether that become a reality right now. I honestly think that could be our biggest downfall. I know great safeties can make up for some of that, but not if they're asked to do it constantly.
I say this moreso than RBs because I think that may be the 2nd biggest potential for weakness, but I think there's way more upside there to be had from Ingram and Robinson.

Well, we'll have no need for field goals, and we'll go for the two points after TD's. Problem solved.

I know the Pats are consistently good but they are the laziest pick for sports writers. I wouldnt read into this at all. it's like saying the Yankees will go to the World Series every year

If people are picking the Yankees, as currently constructed, to make it to the World Series, they probably don't know of any other Major League Baseball teams.

you get what I'm saying. It's a convenient fall back pick.

You do realize we were ranked #2 in the league last year against the pass with the same corners that have starting this year?

Not to mention we masked our issues (and injuries) at CB/LB by adding extra safeties on the field pretty often.. and we now have 5 talented safeties on the roster. Not worried.

We don't have Greer, and we went .500 after he went down. Not unreasonable to worry about that position, esp if 28 gets hurt.

Greer had nothing to do with us going 3-3 in the last 6. the only team to kill us with the pass was the seahawks, and Carolina had one drive where they were able to pass on us.

I've been saying this also.
I drafted Brady late in all my fantasy drafts

Yeah, it sounds fine to me, and that would be an entertaining Super Bowl. Let's just hope that injuries don't play a major factor this year.
