You could

Or you could use a recognizable system that's been in place for awhile. If you don't care about looking at rankings and data and discussing your league with others based on mutual scoring, then you can do whatever scoring you like.

I can do both leagues. But over the years We have switched out leagues to PPR and auction format even though a lot of people were reluctant. Now everyone loves it. There is no right or wrong, just personal preference.

RBs are more important to teams than WRs so they should get more point...
Judging by your posts in this thread, I'm going to assume you don't have the requisite intelligence to conduct a study analyzing which position is more "important" to NFL franchises.

What?

Passing the ball has exploded over the last 10 years or so. Running backs have been most important to teams far longer than WRs. Points should be awarded for gaining yards and scoring, not bc someone does there job and catches a pass. If you can't understand that, then who is "intelligent" here?

A lot more fun and makes the league a lot more competitive.

PPR is the only way to go.

Knowshon Moreno scored 10 TDs last year. Josh Gordon scored 9 TDs. If you polled all 32 GM's in the NFL right now, who do you think they would say is the more valuable commodity? Josh Gordon? Now why is that? Elite WR's put more strain on a defense and make defense adjust schematically to compensate for the overall talent of elite WR's combined with the more stringent anti-defensive rules the NFL is implying/enforcing now. If youve learned anything in football over the last 5-6 years, it should be that solid running backs are a dime a dozen and you dont need an elite one or even a good one to compete. That's why they havent been getting drafted. This isnt the 1960's anymore. Teams throw the ball. Elite Wr's give teams an advantage that it more difficult to replace (Falcons last year w/o Julio) than the RB position. You are wrong. Gyno is right in every point he's made in this discussion. And to the OP, PPR is awesome simply because it's more fun.
