Did you ever consider:

IT WAS THE GUY'S JOB!!!

So if he said no I wont teach her, would you advocate for him to lose his job? would you expect him to do what he is paid to do, and provide a service to paying customers?

This was not some militia guy forcing his sweet girl to shoot because of fear of Obama.

I would expect any grown adult to walk away from a job that required them to do something dangerous. Just saying "it was my job" is not an excuse for a lack of personal responsibility. Especially in the case of a licensed firearm instructor who is supposed to stay in charge of the situation.
