Lit public transit bus? The ones here definitely do not have reclining chairs
She's talking about the upper-middle class park & ride buses, not the peasant buses we have in Louisiana.

Someone needs to develop a device that prevent the lowering of the window cover. I hate people who take the window seat and immediately close it.
gets really hot when the sun is on it.
I get the window seat mainly for control of the window. I like to randomly look down and try and figure out where I am.

To me, if you have to recline your seat back and limit my already tiny space on the plane, you're being a baby. We're all uncomfortable on the flight. We all have a microscopic personal space on the plane. Suck it up for two hours. I mean, if you reline your enormous head into my lap, you're expecting me to man up and just deal with it, right?
"Just recline your seat back, then." - it's not about me reclining backward. I obviously don't need it. The issue is you're in my space forward of me.
But like I said before, according to the airlines, that space is not my space. It's actually yours.
So my opinion doesn't matter for shite. But I'll still say it anyway.
Pussies.
It's like two inches. It only marginally encroaches into your tray area. Only if you have more than a 34" inseam will you have an issue.

The broad must've been a soggy taco. If she was hot, he'd have taken those things off in nanosecond and apologized.

Either way, what we have here with this "device" is a breakdown in the social aspect most humans should have and that is the ability to communicate with a stranger and discuss the options. Instead, we live in an "a-hole" culture where they don't want to converse but rather take matters into their own hand and install an "illegal" device to offset their imminent discomfort.
I've asked before, it has never worked. "I'm trying to get some rest," or "Your computer is none of my concern," when I politely asked someone to not recline because I was working and I couldn't use my computer with how far back it went.

In my opinion, if you are tall and require more knee space, be proactive and buy an emergency exit or first row seat; complaining that someone is encroaching on your space by tilting their chair back 1-2 inches is ridiculous. Also, if you hate reclining chairs, fly Spirit Airlines where no seats lean back.
As soon as overweight people buy two seats, parents with small kids get relegated to the back of the plane, first classers DON'T get served before takeoff thereby creating boarding logjams.
I completely agree with you, but EVERYONE needs to take a break from the things they think they desperately need, not just us tall folks.

I personally fall asleep better when I can recline a bit, pull my carry on under my legs and stretch out; I paid for the seat and either checked-in earlier than you(Southwest) or purchased my ticket earlier to receive that seat. If you don't want me to recline, ask me not to but installing a device so you don't have to feel embarrassment over talking to me is horseshite.
People are ridiculously selfish either way. I paid for my seat too, I'd like my knees not to be jammed by metal for two hours, or I'd like to be able to open my laptop without t-rexing my arms.

Also, I imagine people that complain about this are the same people who have a problem with someone standing at a rock concert/sporting event when they want to sit the entire time. Once again, I bought my ticket and I plan to take advantage of it's use in a way I see fit.
No need to over-generalize. The people complaining about this are probably taller, and they also get complaints at concerts or movies for being "too tall."
