I work with a guy who started out in education.

Said his first day on the job with his own class, a kid was acting up and after the 2nd warning he told him to go to the principals office. The kid's response was "I'm gonna tell my mamma you call me a n****r." He said 6 or 7 other kids were like "yep, I heard it too! You in trouble now!"

The guy said he immediately realized he needed a career change. I'm sure it didn't help that teachers started becoming political targets right about the same time.

This was in North Baton Rouge.

A friend of mine is teaching at a similar school in another parish. She got onto a 6th grader for trying to intimidate the kids in her class as they were lined up in the hall to go to lunch. The little shite said "Shut up, bitch!"

I'ld still be walking funny if I had ever said anything like that to any teachers when I was in school, especially elementary.
