I do have lots of experience working with Teach for America teachers. I actually was a regional monitor in Georgia for TFA teachers. 75% of them were inexperienced and very poor at teaching/learning.
The kid who wrote article is attributing to race what has little or nothing to do with race.
I believe this is the true explanation of what is at the heart of this kid's situation. All TFA teachers have good intentions, but very few have the proper skills to teach.

It still makes no sense to me to give a kid like this such a big platform. What's he done to deserve it? About the only teenager today whose opinion I would interested in is the Pakistani girl Malala, though I am sure there are other less famous kids out there who possess maturity and wisdom beyond their age.

I'm attacking an awful poster who made ridiculous statements on here, and pointing out what white people do when faced by schools populated with minorities.
