Geauxt is capable of tomfoolery at all hours of the day. He probably originally had this idea a couple of months ago, then forgot about it. Then he remembered again about a month ago, and forgot about it. Last week he remembered again and wrote it down, then forgot about it. The nurse found the note and asked him about it and then he remembered. He spent the weekend planning. He probably called 4 people to help plan and execute the tomfoolery...

only a few hornets were flying, strangely enough?
might have been too hot and the air was too thick for their arse to fly, although, the skeeters didn't seem to have any problems!
