No where in the article does it say that they were TOLD to leave. They were warned it wasn't a safe place for whites. Have you ever been to West Point, Mississippi btw?

What would happen if 2 black guys went into a place and were told that it weren't safe for blacks?

Eta: And I have been to West Point. I worked with a high school As an athletic trainer in MS for 3 years before I was lucky enough to lose my job and move back to Baton Rouge. There isn't enough money that would make me move back to that racist shite hole state.

Riddle me this: what would be the response if someone told a black person that a white neighborhood they happened to be in wasn't safe for them?

....does not matter....it should be safe for anyone to go anywhere.
