Help Buying an ATV **UPDATE w/PICS**

With the advice from some of yall and some more of my buddies I went with the ranger. Got a 2015 900 for a pretty good price. This machine is very comfortable and the ride quality is better than expected. Tons of room and plenty of power to do anything im going to ask of it. I went ahead and voided the warranty with highlifter's forward set a arm kit and some 30" moto monsters. Seems to turn them very well in the little riding I have done on it and should get me to the blind like I wanted. Also figured out it wouldn't fit on the trailer we already have so had to make accommodations there too

How much stuff you need to haul?
I ask because many factors. If just you riding out with a decoy bag of say a Rancher. Light enough to rock it and get out of anything. The Formans are heavier but if you're a bigger guy then yea.
Lots of shite and think you'll have friends/kids/ole lady then go with the Polaris. The new big ones are amazing and super quiet

I've always had fourwheelers, but just bought a ranger 900 xp with power steering. Its so nice, I took it up and down some ridiculous hills and bottoms at our camp in Mississippi and it handled it great. The dump bed comes in handy also. Put some 27" mudlites or even a more aggressive tire on it and a winch just in case. If you're set in a fourwheeler then honda 420s are solid, but the toughest bike ever built is the 300 honda fourtrax. I've seen people put a 54% gear reduction and small lift and they would turn 29.5 outlaws in thick thick mud. Now if you want raw power but still a 4x4 either go with the polaris scrambler 1000 or renegade 1000 or even a 900 or 1000 rzr.

I would go with a sxs. They are pretty damn nice for hunting. You can haul a ton of shite and you're behind a windshield which is pretty nice.
If you get a bike, I would go grizzly or rancher. Automatic is pretty nice. Especially if you have big waders on. Might be hard to shift? Maybe not?

2014 Yamaha Grizzly 700 EPS is the answer to your question. Just got one thing is a beast. Bought used from a guy up in Atlanta that works for Yamaha. Had 23 hours on it.
Treat used like herpes. Go in with some protection and you will leave ok. Don't buy shite that has mud tires and lift kits. Keep as close to stock as you can with low hours. I always inspect the rear diff housing and axle boots. This way I can see leaks.

I have used Honda Foreman 450ES that is perfect for getting through thick nasty mud.
I have used it to haul 3 doz deeks, two 200lb plus men and all gear 1/4 mile through knee deep water and slop and it never slowed down.
Willing to let go very reasonable. let me know if you are interested.

We got 2 ranchers for work on the farm with stock grips. Work fine as hunting bikes too
