Was the failed rescue attempt of Foley due to faulty intelligence?

According to Oduma's spokesperson it wasn't. ISIS just moved Foley and the other captives shortly before the rescue attempt began.
Yet the Left still claims the invasion of Iraq was based on faulty intelligence that Saddam had WMDs. The Left claims the fact that no WMDs were found in Iraq is because there never were any WMDs in Iraq.
Similar to the case of the failed rescue attempt, couldn't it be that the failure to find WMDs in Iraq wasn't due to faulty intelligence but that it was because the WMDs were moved to Syria shortly before the invasion began?

There was a failed rescue? I missed this.

They missed him by a day or two. Most rescue attempts fail. They're high risk operations.

Don't you know that every American death is the result of a failure of intelligence coupled with incompetence topped with corruption?

That's correct in the Age of Obama, Rex.

Then you disagree with your great leader.

That's irrelevant.
Besides, maybe they finished moving the WMDs to Syria a day or two before the invasion began.

They were slow in getting the approval to go ahead with the rescue. 2 days slow. CNN said if they had left immediately, they would have rescued them. They got moved while Obama talked about it. He needs a sense of urgency that business teaches you.

Are you referring to me pointing out that when the rescue attempt failed because Foley and the other captives weren't there Oduma's spokesman said it wasn't due to faulty intelligence but because they moved Foley and the other captives shortly before the rescue attempt yet when the Iraq invasion failed to find WMDs it was due to faulty intelligence since there were never any WMDs in Iraq not because the WMDs were moved to Syria shortly before the invasion began?
What evidence do you or Oduma have that Foley and the other captives were ever at that location?

If CNN said it then it must be true.
What evidence has CNN presented that if they had left immediately, they would have rescued them?

This and Iraq are comparable in the same way stubbing your toe is comparable to stepping on a land mine- both involve mistakes but the latter actions are far, far more damaging.
Not to mention one was taken in response to aggression while the other was a freaking war of choice.

It's a lot easier to stuff one guy in the trunk of a car than it is to move a convoy of trucks without being detected.

Stop being Dick Cheney.
We went to war in Iraq because the executive branch wanted to go to war in Iraq.

I believe convoys of trucks moving to Syria were observed for months prior to the invasion.
Is that incorrect?

There were WMD in Iraq, tons and tons, there was just an article a week ago saying the Obama was afraid ISIS could capture them. Why do people KEEP saying there were no WMD in Iraq??????

Of course they did. They have to wait for the final say before they start. I know you are shocked, but the delay was them waiting on word from The White House...imagine that! Golf anyone?
