Is the LLWS the best sports option on TV this week?

I have enjoyed watching it much more than preseason football or MLB. Thoughts?

I'd much rather watch MLB, preseason football, EPL over LLWS. LLWS is freaking painful to watch.

This years llws has been more entertaining than past years. I still can't watch more than about an hour of it though.

You'd rather watch children play baseball than watch professionals?
Wow
Wow

It's still baseball. So no, it's not the best option on tv this week.

I turn it on thinking I want to watch it... but 15 minutes in I am bored as hell.

i always watch the LLWS. dunno why, but i like it. with that said, i usually just have it on the flip from a solid preseason game or whatever baseball game is on (normally the reds since i am currently in cincinnati). i often end up getting more interested in the little league game, though.

I'd rather walk my dog or mow the grass than watch the LLWS on TV.

What I'm amazed by is the crowds they get at these little league games. I was watching a little of the Philly vs. Texas game the othe night and they were saying there was like 30,000 people there! That's crazy to me for that many people to pay money to see 12 year olds to play baseball.
Also while I was watching they were showing the MoNe girl signing autographs and there were adults getting a 12 year olds autograph, it was a little disturbing.

Williamsport and the surrounding area has really bought into the LLWS. They really create an awesome atmosphere for the kids.

I hate that the LLWS is on ESPN. Why should I care about it?

Well somebody watches it. Guess just not this board.

To me it is like the Shark Week of ESPN. Nobody really marks it on their calendar, but when they see an ad for it or find that it is on TV they act like they are excited and turn it on. I dont think anyone other than the relatives of the kids truly GAF.

This. I cannot grasp how people get so caught up in little league sports.
