Miles ALWAYS plays the best guy regardless of age.

So if Fournette is as good as advertised, Miles will give him more carries than Magee and Hilliard, who are not elite running backs.

Honestly, I think Magee starts against Wisconsin and unless he drops the ball or Fournette blows the doors off the barn, he might have a great year running the ball for us.
Miles has spouted off so much about LF's superhuman skills that he's almost in a bad spot here PR-wise... regardless if it's 5 carries or 15, LF needs to produce quickly to justify the effort that LM went thru to get him... that's why it's better to keep the hype to a minimum (even for the greatest recruit to ever sign with LSU....)

lol no. Ware had no vision and Ford was a one trick pony that went down with a whisper. I'm glad that these guys played here, but by 2012, they were pretty much just role players.

blue was passed up in 2010, 2011, got hurt in 2012, and passed up again in 2013.

he had no lateral movement with his injury in 2013 and was passed up by the other RB's in other years. Ridley, Ware, Ford, and Hill all passed blue up.

even in 2012, he would have been passed up by jeremy hill, injured or not.

LF is in a losing situation with fans because if he doesn't deliver a National Championship and/or at least 1 Heisman trophy......lots of fans will call his LSU career an average one. And the 'kid' hasn't played one down of college football.

Peace!!

So how is it a losing situation if he actually does one of those things?

It's not, and that's a lot of pressure to put on a kid who hasn't taken a hand-off at the collegiate level... IMO he just needs to be exceptional (Jeremy Hill exceptional would be good) even if he's not spectacular as touted. combine that with exceptional players around him and we have a shot at the 4 team playoff at leave 1 of the next 3 years while he's on campus...

If he as anything like J Hill last season, I would be thrilled. J Hill with out preseason crap and more touches would be heisman material IMO.

Nice straw man. Seems to have gotten the attention you wanted.

Not trolling. I sincerely believe Magee will lead this team in touches. ALOT of people seem to think otherwise so I wanted to know why.

Blue was not passed up in 2010 or 2011. Blue came here the same year as Ware and Ford came a year before. Ware and Blue got pretty even snaps that year. In 2011, Ware started early, but averaged 3.9 ypc. Blue was the #3 leading rusher averaging 6.9 ypc and 7 TDs. Blue started to turn it on in 2012, but got injured. In 2013 he couldn't get over the mental hurdle of his leg injury.

So no, you have no idea what you are talking about.

It's like I'm replying to a moron. How could Ridley or Ford pass Blue up when they were here before him? How could Ware pass him up in 2010 if Blue had more carries over the course of the regular season?

Everybody was passed up by Hill, but watching Blue run in those first 2 and a half games, I think he was going to have a great year. He had picked up right where he had left off, averaging 6.75 ypc.

What do you classify as "ALOT of people?" You're exaggerating.

I guess you don't remember blue being the starter in 2010 to START the season... ended up only with 20 carries though...

shite, ridley didn't even play in the bowl game. do you not remember that?

Ridley got cleared to play in the Cotton Bowl and both he and Ware rushed for 100+ yds. since we're questioning memories and all...
