From a craft beer perspective, what is a comparable city to Portland but with good weather?

Asheville. Wanna ride along Friday?

Asheville really isn't on Portland's level, but it's still really good. Big fan.

Portland weather is better than people give it credit for. Fantastic summers. Winters are wet, but mild. The rain doesn't come down hard in the winter. It drizzles a lot, so it's not even like you need an umbrella. It is a drop dead gorgeous state. Beautiful mountains and beautiful coast.

I'd say San Diego has good beer and weather.

ETA: The beautiful thing about Portland beer is that number of beers available. So many fresh beers on tap. Beers you've never heard of from breweries you are not familiar with. I go into brewpubs and often have to choose between 3 or 4 world class IPAs. You can also do brewery crawls. Walk from brewery to brewery - that's how dense the brewery population is in Portland.
