It's not safe even with experience. Freshman year of high school I saw a girl get hit when the car in front of me pulled out in front of her, and had her die while I was checking her pulse after cutting her helmet strap (to stop choking not take the helmet off) and trying to talk her back from shock. She wasn't speeding or doing anything wrong, just commuting to work at 6:30 in the morning. A long time friend of mine died the same way almost a year ago. I don't give a damn how good of a rider you are, some things just can't be avoided.

wow that's rough. sorry you had to go through that. but yeah, I'm not worried about my motorcycle skills, I'm worried about the other idiots on the road. That's why I wouldn't ever ride on the streets.
