Avenue is noted for its beer selection. Is a full bar, but I've never really ever heard anyone extoll its virtue as a bourbon place. For bourbon, the best places I've found are dba on Frenchman and Oxalis in the Bywater (but, neither open till the evening).

I can vouch for their Bourbon selection upstairs. I know they were promoting it several months ago and had some great bartenders that knew their shite.
Haven't heard much lately though.

Are you nuts?!?!dba and oxalis can't hold a candle to Avenue for whiskey selections! Check the websites.

You need to check out their web site. Pretty big offering, although Irish House has more (but not cheaper) Irish whisky.
