Plenty of guys cheated just as much as he did. He just happened to be the greatest player of all-time. Numbers never lie.
Some people are better at cheating than others. Barry happened to be the GOAT in that respect.

Get over it............ Look at how much better he was than ANYONE he played against... Its UNREA
Guy was at least a quarter black, playing against a bunch of white guys. I wonder why

Actually, today's pampered prima-donnas would melt from riding in un-air conditioned buses and trains and staying in non air conditioned hotels.
And how huge the fields were back then and until the 50's. These cookie-cutter stadiums are garbage compared to a 435 left center at the old Yankee stadium.

Best left-handed pitcher in the AL, then the greatest slugger in the game. Pretty solid resume.
Still holds (tied) the AL record for most shutouts in a season by a LHP.

and he hit more HRs than any other TEAM in the AL...twice*
*first time he also hit more than all the other Yankees combined too, but second time was 1927 so Gehrig was there.
Barry Bonds never outdistanced the other juicers by that much.

Babe Ruth wouldn't survive in today's league.
False.
But he'd probably have 14 kids and die of AIDS.

Where's #24?
A close third...............
Posted on 8/16/14 at 6:54 pm to dukke v
#24 is the best all around player I ever saw play. I was fortunate that I got to see him play in person a couple of times. He made a catch off a deep line drive to center that 40+ years later, I still can't believe he caught it.
