My neighbor asked me to get a snake skin out of her tomato plants yesterday. The skin was wrinkled up at the tail, but it was longer than the youngest Foot. He is a lil over 3ft tall. I figured rat snake. We are on the look out for him.

according to and going along with OB lore and tradition, ,, would a gallon of diesel and 2 matches be enough material needed to burn whole garden down? if so, why hasn't said project started yet?

Snake skin sheds are usually longer than the actual snake, so the snake might not be 3". You can tell her it's keeping the critters from eating her tomatoes, but somehow I don't think she'll care.
