LSU has too many places where we will depend on inexperienced players, like DT and QB. I see the season this way..

Narrow win over Wisconsin, say 7 points

Easy wins over the three rent-a-wins

We will beat State again in a narrow game by 3-7 points and go to AU 5-0 on Oct 4. We will lose to AU then narrowly beat UF in G'ville.

We will beat UK and play our best game versus Ole Miss and win that one too.

As we have done since 2007, we will put too much emphasis on beating bama and we'll lose by 3 points near the end. We will be devastated and will lose in Fayetteville the next Sat. Arkie has an open date while we are playing bama. We will beat the Ags thouroughly for a 9-3 regular season.

We'll beat Nebraska in the Gator handily and be primed for a contending season in 2015 if we can develiop an o line.

If you would have asked me this in July I would have said 2 losses and a New Years Day Bowl... But now that Fournette is in town and all reports say he is as advertised... The more I hear about the LBs and the more I see the DBs clicking... I have a feeling we surpise some teams like 2003.

I think we make a statement with a 30-10 win against Wisonsin... I think Harris wins the starting job and we rely on our run game before he emerges as a very good QB..

I think we lose 1 and make the top 4.

Do you think LSU could lose to Wisconsin and MSU? I think it could happen, not likely but definitely a possibility. If that is the case losing 3 more the rest of the season is also a possibility.

I don't see us losing to Wisconsin or MSU.

If that happened, the wheels would completely come off and we may not make a bowl. I just don't see that happening.

We lost 3 games last year and we lost our QB, 2 WRs and RB to the NFL. Yeah, we have talent and a good OL but we're plugging in freshmen and sophomores into critical positions (QB, RB, WR, DT). 1 loss is extremely best-case-scenario.

I hope you're right though.

We have beat state 14 times in a row and are playing them in TS after whooping their arse at that cow Pasteur they call a stadium.

Yeah having 2 senior running backs leading the number one recruit in the nation who is constantly compared to AP is oh so terrible

If LSU gets to A&M with 1 loss, they'll leave with 1 loss. Get there with 2 or 3 losses then i can see A&M winning.

my logic

LSU loses one they are supposed to: Auburn (they'll be favored by about a point, motivated from loss last year, in Auburn, you do the math)

LSU wins one they aren't supposed to: Bama (Bama probably be favored by 3 or so coming into TS, no reason to think we won't be motivated)

We'll also lose one we aren't supposed to do to youth: I said aTm, but it could easily be Arky or UF

overall 10-2

5 losses? This team is too good to have 5 losses despite youth at QB

They have 18 returning starters. No matter who we start at qb he will only have 3 or 4 games experience. They will be big and physical upfront on both sides of the ball and we don't know what to expect upfront on defense yet.

I think our running game will be very strong, but that does not mean we can avoid 3rd and longs. Our qb's will have to mature very quickly along with a young wr group.

Like I said earlier, talent at LSU is not a question, game experience is.

10-2 reg +1 (a Flor. Bowl) = 11-2; 2015 here we come (not to put any pressure on that team but hey!)
We beat Wisky close one, own Moo St., lose tough 0ne @ AU, beat UF in squeker, UK no problem, beat OM & Gumps this year, split Hogs/ATM.

first couple of exposures to SEC road play for these youngsters will lead to losses, i say we win a wild one against bama mainly because of more experience and of course at home

Experience is more necessary on road games. Besides everything I already said about the last 14 years vs state...we are playing them in Tiger Stadium. We aren't losing that game. Period.
