The fact that Williams committed suicide is making this bigger, though. If he had had a heart attack, it would be sad, but not like this. His suicide will cement his death as one of the all-time tragic Hollywood stories. This will not be quickly forgotten.
Who was the last MAJOR Hollywood star to KILL themselves? I honestly do not remember (drug overdoses not included, because those are likely accidents).

Especially asphyxiation by hanging. Can't think of a correct term but almost want to say like "dramatic" way of going out. If you take overdosing out, biggest names I can think of are Kurt contain and maybe chris Benoit. But he is a whole other story.
