Live Drafts

I'm doing an auction draft and a few of my friends want to get together and draft. If this was a snake, I'd had no problems doing a live draft, but I think with the a live auction, I could see ppl trying to troll or raise the prices to see the other person react.
Anyone ever did a live auction draft?

IMHO, live is the only way to do an auction draft. I hate online auctions.

Did you find the prices would run higher during a live draft vs an online draft?

Not especially, but if they do, they run higher for everyone. Take advantage of that by throwing out some players you don't necessarily want and let people bid on them. Meanwhile, save up your money for the value picks. If prices are higher than normal, there will be even more values late in the draft.

We have always done online but we are switching to live this season. I think it's going to be better.
And if your only concern is that people are going to try and over bid one another, then you should be all about a live draft. Let dumb people overbid for players just for the shock value and reap the rewards when they are broke.
