Pomanski is right about the DTs. I said this in another thread that if the DTs don't occupy and the guards and they get to the next level then it doesn't matter if you have the next Ray Lewis at MLB, he won't be effective. That doesn't absolve Welter of his own deficiencies, but don't expect Beckwith or Garrett to become world beaters if the DTs can't keep them clean.

Yeah, you're right. I was real impressed with Gilmore and Herron in the Big Cat drill on Friday. Herron got under an o-lineman's pads and drove him back. Same with Gilmore. The offense can't have those DT's pushing guys in the backfield, they are gonna have to double.
