i'm for more sales tax, and no income tax


the people with illegitimate forms of income easily avoid paying as much tax as the honest ones


if all of our state tax was derived from sales tax, it would put everyone on a more equal footing, IMO

I tend to lean this way as well. Taxing productivity (income) seems wrong to me.

This guy gets it. A straight consumption tax is what we need. Penalizes the spenders and reward the savers. Of course, it would take a total redesign of not only the tax system, but the American way of thinking.
