Won another gun: *update in OP* Ruger SR1911

Left last night with a south Texas hog hunt, a 20qt canyon cooler, hats and knives and a killer fire pit (IMO)
(I'll be painting the p&g black with expediency)
Won a rock island armory 1911 in one of the ticket drawings. Tell my about it. POS, good company or middle of the road?
Update: so they screwed up the order for the RIA and just gave me store credit. Used the credit, added a little cash and got this instead:
Bought a little bit of ammo too

Low end gun but it's still a 1911. Good gun for the money, even better as a free gun.

That fire pit is awesome, even though it likely involves a lot of copyright infringement.
