I agree. I think they should just get rid of the kicked PAT. A TD becomes worth 7 points. If you want to increase your point total, ball goes on the 2. If you score you get 8; if you don't you lose a point and get 6.

Well the lose a point think doesn't make sense but I get what you mean. You get the six and go for two every time. You either get six or eight

I always felt this was the best option if a change was to be made.

TD + PAT = 7-0
TD + missed PAT = 6-1
TD + 2Pt = 8-0
TD + missed 2Pt = 6-0
And why is narrowing the goal posts not a more popular idea? It fixes literally everything.

This is the best idea and what they should do. I don't understand why people would want to move the extra point back. You'd just be putting more games into the control of the kicker.
