It looks like he's dropping that ball.

I don't anticipate the Saints or Falcons have the defense to contain him

True :(

Here's our new safety. That's a picture of him in the pro bowl.
To add to our other pro bowl guys.

They're loaded down with Brees's contract
Actually, considering that Brees signed before Matt Ryan, Cam, Rogers, Kapernick, Dalton, etc. etc. His contract looks pretty awesome compared to what he brings to the table.
But in all seriousness, the Panthers lost Jordan Gross and the O-line is kind of patchwork right now. I think they will miss Captain Munnerlyn more than they realize. He was/is an underrated player. From what I read, they are also missing Ted Ginn (is that right?!?!) because all the possible punt returners keep fumbling. They also lost all their WRs and their best guy is a rookie.
The defense should still be pretty good up front and it will be hard to run on them. Roman Harper is a liability in the passing game though, and with Munnerlyn gone, y'all may just do what the Saints did in 2011 and live and die with the blitz. But with an offense that's not quite as good.
IMHO

What other wide receiver and will he have time to find them?
Well I saw this article the other day, Tavarres King: Is he the next Victor Cruz? - Carolina Panthers, so there's that?

Cooks/Byrd
Added Jean Baptise and Robinson(a legit #2 CB before injury) is fully healthy. Victor Butler will hopefully be back.
Loaded on the Dline/Secondary.
Stills with another year of Exp along with the addition of cooks.
OLine is solidified with Armstead coming into his own.

They're loaded down with Brees's contract just like the Panthers are struggling against the salary cap due to the Hurney contract and have been unable to make significant roster upgrades
Brees is actually underpaid these days and his contract hasn't stopped the saints from adding pieces. They draft well in the later rounds/UDFA.
Saints are in better shape than a few teams salary wise.

Kelvin Benjamin can turn into something nice, but he ran mostly two routes in college. He might be able to get by at first with just his physical gifts, but he'll need to develop.

Yes, Ginn is gone and I've kinda been ignoring the punt return issues in hopes they will work themselves out.

Pretty accurate statement.

Have you even looked at the saints secondary recently?

Also, we have Trai (sp?) Turner O-lineman from LSU Supposedly he's been pretty good in camp so that's something to look forward too? Can any of you LSU people give any info on him?

I hope some guys break out on offense, but the players on that side of the ball are mostly pedestrian on paper.

The only player I really like on the offensive side of the ball is Tolbert.

The Panthers will lucky to have an offense in the top half of the league this year, the 2011 Saints had the top offense in franchise history, and a top 3 in league history.

IIRC, he was touted as a big receiver with a lot of talent, but not very polished. The OC will have to work hard this year to get the offense going. Cam will get hit a lot.
As for Trai Turner, he's a good lineman. Most likely a road grader type guard. Not sure he will start this year or not. May need a little work, but his stock climbed a lot during the draft. More than I thought it would.

The OC is Mike Shula so I won't be holding my breath waiting on this to happen

Last I heard he was playing with the 1st team which may be a testament to how bad things are with the Panthers o-line

I don't think Hardy's jury trial will be set until after the season which will allow the Panthers and the NFL an out, "while the case works through the judicial system". I expect him to play for the entire season
That being said, they drafted Kony Ealy in the 2nd round this year so he may be serviceable (at best) should Hardy face any suspension time.
