Terrance West concludes disappointing August

Terrance West managed 13 yards on six carries, lost a fumble, and was not targeted in the passing game in Cleveland's preseason finale.

Ben Tate started and rushed three times for eight yards with a touchdown. Tate is locked in as Cleveland's starter entering the year, after clearly outplaying West this preseason. West finishes the exhibition season with 31 carries for 83 yards (2.68 YPC). He's no more than a handcuff for Tate at this stage, albeit a relatively attractive one based on Tate's injury history

This has been on RW since yesterday. If I didn't have immediate need at RB, I would keep West. I think he's going to be the starter in the 2nd half of the season. There's too much stock in preseason games IMO. Cleveland is going to run a lot and West will get up to speed and Tate will get hurt.

For my team, I took a lot of flyers on RBs. I was hoping Sankey, West, etc would have taken over the starter positions for week 1. They haven't, but it doesn't mean they won't 5-8 games in. I'm still very high on Sankey and he didn't play with the 1st teamers the entire preseason.

Cleveland doesn't have anyone else besides Tate. And are people forgetting that I got JT out of this deal?
