Was thinking about taking a ride to check out the expansion. Any possibility of getting inside?

Just left. Mike was in the water and playing with children at the windows. Good time!

sometimes during the week there are workers in there and you can just walk in and have a look around...I don't think you will have much luck on a sunday, though...
of course, it would be cool just to see how the outside looks if you are just trying to kill some time...

Guess I'll go give it a shot. Thanks

don't know what you punks have done to ruin this, but it hasn't been too long since the north gate would never be closed in the off season, used to look like a buffalo wallow on the 50

Won't hurt to try. Like another poster said, sometimes there will be workers there that will let you in the gate. Sometimes there will be a gate open in the day time. You never know.

I've walked in when a gate was unlocked last semester. I just acted like I belonged there and took some stupid selfies

A few years back, some kids from north of campus set fire to a storage room under the west side.

if you are just killing time, I would try it out..In fact, if I weren't so damn far away, I would probably do the same...

I went in a few times and walked around on the field there are a lot of signs that say you shouldn't, but I doubt anyone will care if you're minding your business. I did get thrown out of Neyland for doing the same thing a few years back though. Florida is the only school I know that keeps the stadium open at all times

You used to be able to fit under the bars near the escalators, but they fixed it.

Just got back. Could not get into stadium, all gates were closed. Walked around the outside. The different architecture while being a cluster frick does not look too bad up close. Lego blocks are not that bad from outside looking up but obviously could have done better. What is the big glass structure going to be on the south east corner? The tie in points between the south and west side looked simply forgotten about. Really do question those making the decisions. North end zone and plaza looks best off all. Very classic looking. All that really matters is the inside. From picsI have seen it's gonna be awesome. Can't wait to see it live on game day

Was on campus this week showing some out of town folks the stadium. We walked in on the SW side and were just looking around when some guy up in the new section starts yelling at us to get out. Looked like a athletic department guy wearing a golf shirt and slacks. He was waving his arms and came all the way down to the bottom of the upper deck. We walked out and were getting in our car when we see him again outside the stadium. I guess to make sure we had left.
They must have been burying treasure that day or something!

I was in Champaign, IL last year in the fall. Flew in on Saturday night. Went to the Illinois campus and walked around on Sunday morning. Went by Memorial Stadium (built in 1923), and the gates were open. Walked right in, walked right on down to the field level, right on out to midfield. Wandered around for 15 minutes, took some pictures and left.

We snuck into Ohio St. Stadium last summer, they were doing construction work, so we slipped in through an open gate. A guy told us we werent supposed to be there, but we were in a "construction area".
