Here are the CDC's state-by-state obesity levels, listed in order of obesity:

RANK - STATE - % OBESE

1 Mississippi - 34.9

2 Louisiana - 33.4

3 West Virginia - 32.4

4 Alabama - 32.0

5 Michigan - 31.3

6 Oklahoma - 31.1

7 Arkansas - 30.9

8 Indiana - 30.8

8 South Carolina - 30.8

10 Kentucky - 30.4

10 Texas - 30.4

LA (and MS) has a lot of fricking idiots that drag down the general stats

when you look at more refined searches (that remove the BDMs), they're not really that bad

now, if you live here, you still have to live around the BDMs and deal with their bullshite, but i can dream of a day when they leave

Man, how true this is...lived in Atlanta for 12yrs and this was absolutely the case. Now that we're back in BR it is evident once again. It's just how LA operates and that culture will take yrs to change.
