My bank refunds my ATM fees...so I don't GAF.
mine does for other banks but not for the ones that just say "ATM," they often add $2-4 on the amt withdrawn and don't mention the fees.

Never been to a bar in America that didn't take cards.
really? I live by about 10 bars, and 2 of them don't take cards.
Do you live in a city? or the burbs?

Any good bar should take a card.
I never carry cash on me and we don't have any in our house either. We should keep some walking around money on us though. It is just that everywhere I go takes cards and I can swipe my card faster than I can pull out cash and collect change. It is too easy.

I keep 1k in 100's. I know I should keep them in lower denominations but trying to conserve room in my fireproof safe
