UPS: log on to track a package?

So now you have to register and log on to track a stupid package? Then, once you register, they fill your inbox with duplicate "updates"?
How about you just not lose the package and have it show up?

That's weird. Just tracked some orders yesterday and no log on needed. Anything special about the shipping type?

You have to register to track it, so if you don't want to register then just don't track it and wait your impatient butt the old fashioned way

i just type tracking numbers in google and the tracking link always comes up

I tracked a UPS package this week and didn't have to log in to my account.
