The reason you have similar quotes from both of the Presidents we've had since 9/11 is because they realize that you have to make statements like this to cut down own the number of mouth breathers that think that all Muslims are terrorists.

Ceratinly the majority of Muslims aren't terrorist. However the list is pretty short of those who stand up and try to shout down the terrorists.
I've seen two Muslim women on a crusade to alert folks about the danger of saying nothing. They were quickly shouted down by folks in the media with your attitude.
I believe there is a video showing how the typical American Muslim in Detroit felt about 9/11.
