What setting do you keep your Sonicare toothbrush on?

I've had the thing for 2 or 3 years, and the clean setting just feels like it takes way too long. Been on refresh since the first month. I had two wisdom teeth taken out and don't need all of that brushing now
I haven't ever used any of the other settings because they just seem useless. It is a bad arse toothbrush though. Brushing twice a day on the refresh setting, the battery usually lasts 2 months. Always get compliments from the dentist on my clean teeth, which I never did with a regular toothbrush
Eta:
Has Clean, Gum Care, Refresh, Sensitive, Massage. Why on earth would I want to massage my teeth?

I just got one (Flexcare Plus model) a month ago and I'm pissed that I didn't do it sooner. That thing is magic. To answer your question though, I keep it on the clean setting 80+% of the time. Once or twice a week I do a gum cleaning, which takes an extra minute or so.

Takes almost 2 days to charge, but if it lasts 2 months, I'm okay with that. What does the gum cleaning do that the regular cleaning won't?

I've still got the first one they came out with. The brush head is larger and it runs for 2 min after you press the on button. Pretty sure it's been over 10 yrs.

No, what is the difference?

I got one and always leave it on the clean. Should I always wait until it shuts itself off? I wasnt sure if that was even a thing or if I was hitting something wrong.

If you think the clean setting takes too long, don't put it on gum care.

I feel like if I shut it off early, it shortens the first cycle the next time I use it for some reason

I honestly didn't know that the settings could be changed. Mine just runs for 2 minutes.

Yeah, just press the silver button

For some reason I dont think they all have the settings change. Pretty sure I saw a cheap one that was only one setting. I was about to be pissed because of what I spent on mine but noticed the difference.

Mine has only one setting.
One button. Turns it on and off.

I've got 5:
Clean
Gum Care
Refresh
Sensitive
Massage
Came with a charger, one extra toothbrush part, and a UV cleaner on the charger. Also came with travel charger and carrying case

I got a sonicare early this year.
I don't use it anymore. Honestly, I don't feel like it cleans my teeth very well. I never had that "just brushed" feeling that I usually have. I went back to my old fashioned manual toothbrush.

In gum cleaning mode, after your initial 2 minutes are up, it gives you one additional minute at a lower speed to massage your gums. In that extra minute, the interruptions come every 15 seconds instead of every 30.

I got one because it is my natural tendency to brush the frick out of my teeth. It was taking a major toll on my gums.

I've never heard someone say that. Its usually the other way around.

Refresh in morning when I wake up, clean before I go to bed.
