But isn't god the one who starts life in the womb, so he is intentionally letting people be born of other faiths.

That's why it only makes sense that God makes provisions for those people that don't hear "christs" message in some way or that he accepts everyone regardless of religious affiliation. Which is where things get confusing

Yes. But like I said in a previous post - everyone will have a fair opportunity to be taught and then decide whether to accept or reject the gospel of Christ. If it doesn't occur in this life, it will occur in the next life.
