Yeah, but they're getting in cheap and without any kids they can upgrade over a few years.

Definite possibility. I looked at that house and passed. Location not the best. Parking is an issue . Plus the work that needs to be done. All in, it's not the best house. You would be around $300 square foot after you're done. I would think you could find a move in ready house for that (I admit its hard) That's why it's been on the market for so long.

I wouldn't live in Lakeview because of the horrible streets. I also wouldn't live Uptown if I were married because of the crime. I lived Uptown almost my entire life and couldn't wait to get away. Have you considered Old Metairie?

The new Lakeview transplants are the worst. Most grew up in Jefferson Parish with an inferiority complex. Now they have an OP zip and they think they are some kind of big deal socialite.
