Also, if your budget is $900k, this is what you can get Uptown. You'd never have to move out of this (just update kitchen):

I think that house needs updating. Bathroom, kitchen, wallpaper and pool are all in rough shape. You would need to put in another 150K or so to make it nice.
The two other houses on prytania that are for sale are asking over one million and once you finish updates on this one the price will be north of one million as well.

That floor plan is almost identical to my Uncles house on Prytania.
