I think this is the main argument. Does a player have the right to talk about the program once he is out? I think absolutely he has that right. Keeping that hate and regret in will give you an ulcer.

The people who want him to keep quiet just want to protect the program, which is not a bad goal. However you can't commit a former athlete to silence without making his life happy somehow (and that would be a rule violation) and you certainly shouldn't go into character assassination mode like many posters in this thread.

There's plenty of people that he can probably vent to, he doesn't need to so loudly air his grievances. It does nothing good.

1) If you need to vent social media is not the place to do it. Get whatever demons off your chest with family, friends, or a counselor.

2) I agree with the character assassination part but....he started it.

Of course he has the "right". No one has proposed arresting him. However, exercising that "right" triggers consequences. Criticism and disagreement are some of those.
