You're basically saying that he deserved what would have been months, if not years of torment, for the shite that went down at the beach, and he should have just fricking taken it.

Getting back at Johnny at the dance might have been the best thing to ever happen to Daniel. Remind me how many arse whoopings he took from the Cobra Kai after hosing down that druggie sexual predator?

But yes.... Ali is the real count in all of this, but you are wrong in saying that she never really liked Daniel. She was moistened when he won the tourney.
