My folks mow about 4acres........just bought a JD 60" cut with Kawasaki motor. I think it was about 6k at the JD store..........sounds like you want a cheaper one.
Takes them about 1:30 to know it........used to take 3hrs on a traditional mower.

My old man did the same thing wit the same mower. It was taking him 3+ with. 48" cub cadet. Now he can do it in less than 1.5 hours. He swears you cannot drive the John Deere wide open because it is too fast. I think he bought it used at the dealer as a trade in because the same guy gets a new one every year for his business.
