I think mine is Silk Degrees by Boz Scaggs. I had that on cassette way back in the day when I did a lot of driving, including at night. Something about the way the songs built on one another set that one apart for me. (Strangely, when I updated to CD it wasn't the same - I'm not sure but it seemed like they changed the order of the songs or something).
2nd place for me would probably be Red Headed Stranger by Willie Nelson. I think he was at the height of his singing/songwriting for that one.
