people misinterpret the fine line of freedom. they assume freedom means they do what they want and convince themselves they answer to no one. you answer to a govt which hires officers to execute laws. im sure there are many a-hole cops, however, they are under unmeasurable stress and get the right to instruct any citizen to shutup and obide their orders. then the citizen uses their rights to argue to a judge their dismantlement.

The bold is just silly and part of the reason police are so out of control. There is no logical thought anymore, just force and mandated respect.

There are legions of LEOs in America. In 2011, Seventy-Two were killed on duty, fifty-three died in car accidents.

yes being a cop is oh so stressful and dangerous if you feel unsafe and fire off a few rounds into a dog or suspect then it is just a paid vacation instead of criminal charges.
