Casa Borrega is good. I like Taqueria Guerrero.

I haven't heard of those two restaurants. Will try them out soon

Nola area is definitely lacking in the TexMex department. I usually just order fajitas though and I've never had any issues with my fajitas at Gato Negro, Carreta's, or Casa Garcia. I've only been to Superior twice and I can say their margs are better than their food. The places I mentioned fit the trashy TexMex chips/salsa/queso, frozen margs sort of night. Which I enjoy every now and then.
