I'm sure you design stadiums for a living. Being an architect or designer doesn't give you the foresight to know what their final build will look like. Are you the same guy that said the pipes looked like shite and needed to be covered up right before they were actually covered up?
Also if you are either of the above mentioned, you would know there is a scope of work for every project. I doubt tying in the west facade is in the scope of this project and will be handled in another projects scope of work.
